Hello Kiah!
Welcome to ABG. I hope we will hear more about you and your little one's. You might want to start your own due in group thread so you can compare notes with other mums at the same point as you. And somewhere in here is a thread where we were talking about toilet training, I will go hunt it out and post the link for you when I find it.
But again Welcome and congrats on your pregnancy!

Hi and welcome Kiah,

I'm Lisa a mum of 4 boys with another boy due in May.

I am also currently toilet training my 23 month old son in the hopes that he'll be at least only in night nappies when baby is born. I wish I could help you with your question but even after 4 boys it's still new for every one of them and they all develop this skill at different times. All I can say is let him lead you and never fuss over accidents or you'll make him even more shy to do it there Ignore the accidents and fuss on the achievements and you'll have a happy boy who will "perform" on the potty just to make you happy

Welcome Kiah. Congratulations on your pregnancy! I also have a son named Hunter - 3.5 years.
In regards to toilet training my advice is it will happen when he is ready. I stressed so much over this, like you wanting Hunter to be TTed before bubs #2 came along (he was 2.5 years when S was born)....but it was just so stressful. He would wee on toilet and poo in undies. But one day it just clicked...and he decided he was going to do ALL his wees and poos on the toilet. And no it wasn't before my daughter was born, it was after his 3rd b'day.
