Hi Jaxon, lovely to meet you and please feel free to keep chatting away while I gaze into your gorgeous eyes.

I’m going to ask you a few questions, it shouldn’t take too much of your time and ... no this interview won't take very long. Why do you ask? Oh, okay, sure we can go and play on the swings and slides afterwards. So long as I can go first, deal? Oh come on, that's fair. No I'm not too old to go on a swing. Am not. Am not. Let's talk first then I'll race you to the park later.

Okay, here we go …

Let's cut to the chase, how old are you?
I am 17 months old.

I know it’s personal but what's your weight?
I weigh a whopping 11.2kg, mummy thinks I should weigh a lot more because I eat so much.

Is there a particular food that you just can't get enough of?
I love bananas, strawberries and mandarins. Daddy sometimes feeds me two minute noodles; I tip my head back and open my mouth just like a hungry bird, he thinks it’s funny.

Any food that makes you want to pick it up and splat it on a wall?
I HATE broccoli! Mummy tries to sneak it into my food but I’m onto her.

How good are your good sleeps during the night & how bad are your bad ones?
I’m a bit of a sleepy head. I sleep through most nights, probably because I like to run everywhere, I’m always busy and I never stop which really tuckers me out.

What time do you like to rise in the mornings?
I wake up around 6:30. Sometimes I sleep longer and that make mummy really happy.

What was your first word or if you’re not quite at that stage what is your favourite sound  (and could you possibly spell that for me)?

I said dada first. My favourite word at the moment is plane, I point to them in the sky and say ‘blaaghn’.

What's your favourite form of entertainment?
I really love swings and slides. Mummy usually has to drag me away from them which makes me cry. I like to hide shoes around the house just to keep everyone guessing and mummy also says my middle name should have been ‘destructor’ because I enjoy breaking things.

What have you done that has sent your parent/s into hysterics?
I pull lots of funny faces which makes them laugh. I am trying to master the art of doing a rollly polly at the moment and that gives them a good giggle.

Have you ever embarrassed them or anyone else in public?
I went on a holiday recently and stayed in an apartment. I’ve never been so high up so I felt it necessary to throw some food, toys and have a big wee off the balcony. Mummy had to retrieve my toys and apologize to the people below. I also pulled mummy’s bikini top down in the public pool, ha ha.

Given your current skill base have you got any ideas on what you might be when you grow up?
Daddy thinks I could be a boxer because I have a tough head, I’m always bumping it but it doesn’t faze me too much. But mummy says I’m not allowed to mess up my pretty face. I’m really good at running around the house nude, but I don’t think there is a career in that.

Okay, I think that’s all we need, thanks Jaxon for your time, you're a gorgeous kid and it's been delightful having a chat with you. Now I'll race you to the park but before we go I just need to ask if you have seen my shoes anywhere?
